NATURAL TALENT
We all have inherent abilities that we were born with called talents. These are recurring patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior that can be productively applied. 

ACQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
When we take the time to invest in our natural talents we can acquire skills and knowledge developing them into strengths. This happens over time and is refined as we continue to invest in each strength.

STRENGTH
A talent becomes a strength when we are able to consistently provide a near-perfect performance in a specific task. This is when we get to explore how and where our strengths work best for us personally and professionaly. 


TAKE THE STRENGTH’S TEST

 

The Clifton Stengths Finder test was developed by Donald Clifton in conjunction with Gallup. Gallup is a reputable and trusted source of data analysis. Using their analytical skills they created a list of 34 themes of talent that we all have. Some of them are more dominant than others for each individual, while others take more of a supporting role and still others rarely are used. Gallup developed this test to identify areas where an individuals greatest potential for building strengths exists. By identifying one's top themes of talent, Clifton Strengths Finder provides a starting point in which one can explore, develop, and build upon their talents to develop strengths within their roles.

I care deeply about people and love helping them understand themselves better in order to unlock their hidden potential, and find success in whatever they are pursuing. I am Certified through Gallup as a Strengths Finder coach and a consultant along with GiANT Worldwide, working with individuals and teams to develop their leadership and communicate at a higher level. 

Along with leadership coaching I do life planning through Focus Lab Intensives. These are 2 day(individuals) or 3 day(couples) intensives aimed at discovering clarity about how they got to where we are and how to create and action plan to get them to where they want to be.

I live in Portland Oregon and also seasonally run a commercial fishing boat in Alaska. I love adventure and exploring all that life has to offer. I am married to an amazing woman and have the privilege of being called "Papa" to two incredible kids. 

I feel most alive and energized when I have the opportunity to inspire and encourage people to become more than they believe they can be. I especially love helping teams recognize their potential, discovering new eyes to see each other and the strengths that each member brings to the table.
